Every home should have their own bar. 😀
A good place for ‘spirits’ in the home is always having your own place to store good booze! And that means building your own home bar. A small home bar can also be used for your cubby kitchen in your den or living space. Good for a quick soft drink or snack when you’re watching your favorite sports team on the big screen. Home bars are also great to have around for entertaining friends when they come over for cards or other small gatherings. Suave always makes sure to keep his own private bar stocked with only the finest Tequilas, Whisky’s, Rum’s, Vodka’s, and maybe a few select wines and a few cases of prime time beer ready for all when he celebrates a shin dig.
Supplies are always important to have around in any home bar. Always keep in stock these basic tools to keep the drinks a coming:
Jigger or Small Measuring Cup
Long Mixing Spoon
Flat Bar Strainer
Beer Can Opener
Sharp Knife or Set
Lemon & Lime Squeezer & Strainer
and the all important Blender!
Both an elegant and ordinary set of bar glasses are always a good addition to any home bar. You never know what an occasion will call for. So a small set of each is good to keep around for all purpose glassware. A few shot glasses and a pitcher or two will round out the set. A small refrigerator for pre-prepared garnishes, sodas, and other cold items is another handy addition to your home bar experience. Usually, your kitchen or small pantry stores all your extra items should they be needed.
As for a small stock of booze and garnishes to keep on hand? Well, that’s entirely up to you. Your own tastes always come first when building your own home bar. But, If you want a small all purpose mini-bar for friends, family, or entertainment these suggestions should help keep everyone pleasantly stoned throughout your gatherings:
and the ever present Lemon.
